What a charming series! What delightful leading characters. Kim Seung-woo, from the superlative "Hotelier" revealed his unsure and masculine insecurity to the hilt in this contemporary fairy tale of a 'princess' who fabricates the perfect boyfriend to dissuade her father's plans, only to realize that the 'pauper' she hired is a perfect match for her, and she for him. Choi Ji-woo shines here, though in most series, she's often such a confused damsel in distress that I was pleased her character was more refined and hesitant than wimpy. All in all, a definitive romantic comedy that felt real and with loads of charm and sweetness.

Eng Subs=Excellent....
Some dramas can capture the viewer within the first few minutes (first love, only you, hotelier;etc) but with all the "star power" included in this drama...I got quickly bored with the series after the 2nd episode!
Some of you might disagree with this review, but even choi ji-woo could not save this dull and lifeless story (compare her performance in First Love or Winter Sonata, too notice the difference!)
Renting "Truth" next...I hope this one is better!

This was a very light hearted, sweet drama. If you're in the mood for something funny and not very angsty, then this would be a good drama to watch. It has a slow start, but by the third episode it really picks up.
Soo-Jin and Yong-Nam seem like a higly unlikely couple, but b/c of their different financial and social standings they complement each other. Soo-Jin has been pampered all her life and Young-Nam is a hard working, upstanding guy. The scenes where they go out together are great. I also really enjoyed the supporting characters too.
The English subtitles are really good. I don't feel like I missed any part of the story.

Finally! a fun Korean drama - enjoyed every minute - so refreshing not to have drama end in tragedy.
