Full Summary:
Love Is Beautiful combines traditional Chinese story with the idea of switching identities, which reminds us of the well-known Face Off. Set in ancient China, the story centers on two good friends who swap their appearances and identities. Leading TVB actresses Marianne Chan and Anne Heung handle such complicated roles very well. This is also the last drama that Marianne Chan participates before leaving the showbiz for commerce. Love Is Beautiful also stars 2006 Hong Kong Film Awards best supporting actor candidate Eddie Cheung, and also the experienced Margo Ngai and Mak Cheung Ching. This entertaining series also brings up issues on human nature and reiterates the importance of having a kind heart over external beauty. The kind and caring Ling Wan (Anne Heung) and the selfish and evil Chor Chor (Marianne Chan) have been friends for years. Jealous of Ling Wan?s beauty, Chor Chor decides to betray her best friend and coaxes Ling Wan to visit a face changer. The face changer helps Chor Chor to get Ling Wan's appearance and identity in return for power and wealth. As unbelievable as it can be, no one believes in the swap of identities between them.
